About us
Our group studies the physics of complex flows through integrated approaches combining modeling, high-performance computing and data science, software engineering, control, and companion experiments, with emphasis on propulsion and hypersonics. We are also interested in cyberphysical integration - effectively connecting computers and real-world devices - for assimilation and optimization of complex engineering systems.
Opportunities
Current Purdue students can contact Maeda to find a time to chat.
Undergraduate research opportunities are typically rotation-basis.
Prospective graduate students can apply for The Gambaro Graduate Program of Aeronautics and Astronautics and indicate their interests on the application forms.
Prospective postdoctoral fellows can contact Maeda. See also an opportunity through the Lillian Gilbreth Postdoctoral Fellowship program.
